The Family Life Center helps ex-offenders and their families re-integrate into the community by providing long-term holistic case management services starting prior to release from prison and extending after release. The Family Life Center ran the successful Rhode Island Right to Vote Campaign. In November 2006 RI became the first state in our nation's history to restore voting rights to formerly incarcerated individuals through public referendum. The Family Life Center runs the Reinvest in Justice website, which is an online campaign for comprehensive criminal justice reform. The site allows people to join a group that provides email updates about ongoing reform efforts. Members can also participate in the campaign by taking part in emailing campaigns to politicians.
